Mini cooper in for diagnostics, found issues with glow plugs. Looks like someone has attempted to remove number 2 in the past and gave up. Nasty job if you ain't got the tools. 1hr later, the old one was removed, and new one fitted. ![]()

Vauxhall in with the famous psa 1.0 3cyl engine. Theses engines seem common in allot of cars recently. We advise theses are changed around 60,000 miles regardless of age. This one was cracking badly. If your unsure if you need yours doing pop in for a free check where possible. We are happy to offer advise where possible

One we done a few weeks back. Typical landrover issue. Rattling timing chain. This customer was lucky as the top chain was hanging on and the bottom chain guide was starting to break. Not the nicest of jobs but all parts are now the latest landrover revisions and should last longer than original!

Theses things don't seem to do very well from the factory, we have been doing lots of theses around the 40-60k with the replacements being better quality and rated for upto 100,000 with correct oil servicing. ![]()

Busy week in the garage, one to finish the day off. Ford transit with customer having issue with dpf light coming back on after multiple dpf cleans else where. Simple problem, simple fix! Remember a filter issue is mostly caused by engine issues. Just cleaning it don't always solve issues.![]()

Ford transit in for new wetbelt, sump and strainer cleaning. Common issue on theses, theses now have reduced recommended renewal schedules and should not be over looked. Common issues they cause is hard brakes.![]()

Turns out the engine had fell out after the gearbox mount couldn't hold on any more. Two fresh bolts later and fixing the mount car is back on the road.![]()
